Kaare Andrews
Kaare Andrews is a comic book writer and artist and filmmaker known for his cover work on Incredible Hulk and Canada's first national recognized award, "The Shuster", for his work on Spider-Man: Doctor Octopus.
Career
Andrews' early work includes short stories published in anthology books.[2] Andrews was part of the Writer's Bloc club that originated on Wizard Magazine's Wizard World website.
He has worked on Incredible Hulk, Ultimate X-Men, Gen¹³, The Amazing Spider-Man and The Matrix Comics.
Andrews wrote and drew a four-issue mini-series for Marvel known as Spider-Man: Reign set 35 years in the future starring a retired Spider-Man.[3]
He has also done work on album design, such as the Beta Band's third studio album Heroes to Zeros and Tegan and Sara's 2002 album, If It Was You, as well as directing their music video "Living Room". Andrews has also directed multiple award winning short films and PSAs.[4]
In October 2010 Andrews released his debut feature film Altitude starring Jessica Lowndes (90210) and Julianna Guill,[5] a thriller about five friends on a small aircraft lost in a supernatural storm.[6]
His follow up feature film, an action movie named The Hunted, will be produced by Gale Anne Hurd (Terminator, Aliens, Armageddon) for Valhalla Pictures.[7]
